Post subject: Cannot Download From Site

We are using Ovidentia for our company FTP site. I can upload any files to the site, but when I try to download a file, I get the following message:-

Internet explorere cannot download =y&path=&file=01909_32154.rtf from (our site name)

The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.

If I use mozilla rather than IE, the download works. I have tried different version of IE, with XP and 2000+various service packs, but nothing works.

Any help would be appreciated

Post subject: RE:Cannot Download From Site

It seems that the "Internet Explorer Cannot Download" error message is referenced on the Microsoft Support website.

Could you confirm that you connect to your site through https ?

The proposed workaround is to uncheck the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" in Internet Explorer. (In the "Advanced" tab of Internet Options.)
